Archived Medisoft Program Updates To avoid any confusion, this 'sub-forum' has been created to contain previous Medisoft Program Updates posts archived to. This way all enhancements that each Medisoft update addresses are still searchable but do not clutter your screen when most of the time you're looking for the latest software update to update to. When a new update is posted, the previous update posting will be moved into this sub-forum. Feel free to access them as needed.

Lightbulb Medisoft 11 Service Pack 1 (SP1) :: Details & Download

Medisoft 11 :: Service Pack 1 :: SP1
Released April 10, 2006

As usual, run a backup before proceeding.

(This version of Medisoft 11 Service Pack 1 should not give you errors if you have the Hotfix installed, as the previous one did from 4/7/06 which was taken down. This version is the final SP1 version.)

- How can I tell what version / service pack I currrently have installed before downloading this Service Pack?

- Simple. Open your Medisoft 11 & go to the 'Help' menu. Select 'About NDCMedisoft'. In the subsequent screen, you'll see 'Version 11' or 'Version 11 Hotfix'. If you see 'Version 11 SP1', please disregard this download & article.

What issues does Medisoft 11 SP1 address?
This document highlights Medisoft V11 release items that have been enhanced or modified and are being
included as part of service pack 1.


This installation is only applicable to those with Medisoft V11 already installed. Any new Medisoft 11's being shipped from March 2006 onwards will have these fixes already on your installation cd & there would be no need to download this Service Pack.


Advanced Reports
Corrected repeatable parameters to redisplay with entered data.
Corrected report import to move reports to the proper tree structure.

Audit
Added Registration information to bottom of Audit Report.
Updated all audits to use new MWAUDD and MWAUDM tables.

Communications Manager
Enhanced HL 7 error log messaging.
Corrected HL 7 enabling and disabling confusion.
Tightened registration requirements for HL 7.
Enhanced security for initial setup limited to level 1 users.

Conversion
Modified conversion to properly populate facility on converted claims.
Updated conversion to create indexes for deposit, obj, and pax.

Eligibility
Corrected initialization error for Eligibility Verification.
Modified connection process to eliminate socket error 10054.

Encoder Pro
Resolves installation difficulty when doing first time installation.

Help File
Enhanced help file to better explain that only Advance Reports can be scheduled.

Mediutil
Modified Mediutils to create both local and remote connections.

Office Hours
Enabled Office Hours conversion from V10 Stand alone to V11.
Corrected Provider drop down error in Pro.
Added document number to transaction entry from Office Hours Pro through copay entry.

Program Options
Removed Enable Communications Manager check box.

Quick Ledger
Updated to correct “QueryTransGrid” error.
Corrected slowness when entering guarantor chart number.

Reporting
Corrected totals in Standard Statement.
Corrected totals in Production by Procedure.
Added registration information to bottom of Patient Collection Letter.
Registration
Resolved "Invalid serial number." Issue.
Task Manager
Resolved Task rule inconsistencies field-3 values are disabled when field-2 values are deleted

Work Administrator
Help via F1 function key corrected.

Work List
Added default of current date if End Date of range is left blank.
Corrected screen sizing issue when opening maximized.
